Defect-associated absorption and luminescence were being revealed and a means to decrease them was advised. The electronic composition, density of states, and a few optical Attributes have been calculated from the main rules for Li2In2GeSe6. Calculated nonlinear coefficients and somewhat big birefringence indicate a robust phase-matching skill. The
